2018 Chambolle Musigny Les Charmes

The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes 1er Cru offers a mixture of red and black fruit on the nose, scents of wild hedgerow and potpourri emerging with aeration and displaying impressive transparency. The 40% whole bunch is nicely enmeshed both on the nose and on the palate, which is framed by fine tannins that lend this Les Charmes a lovely symmetry and poise. It might need a little more matière on the finish, but otherwise this is a finely crafted Chambolle.
