Tasting notes
Notes of spice, honeysuckle and apricot preserve introduce the 2024 Condrieu La Bonnette. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and concentrated, it is built around a fleshy core of fruit, supported by well-integrated acidity that brings welcome freshness to this Viognier. The finish is long, elegant and quietly powerful. Combining amplitude with tension, it’s already approachable yet should evolve gracefully over the next decade and beyond.

The 2024 Condrieu La Bonnette comes shimmering with pronounced lemon flesh, just-ripe apricots, white peach and spring blossom. Mid-bodied and zesty, the 2024 is a markedly crisp and revitalizing Condrieu from Pierre Rostaing, turning toward the close with subnotes of lemon peel on the clean finish.
Mealy and slaty nose, with peach. There is a juiciness and weight on the palate, with just enough freshness to carry it. Appealing and balanced. A broad and dense palate, with a slight pineapple note on the rich finish. (AC)
