Score 94/100 · Drink 2025-2040, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Oct 2024

The 2019 Cuvée Marie-Luise Brut is a pure Pinot Noir from the Kirchenstück in Hohen-Sülzen and the Goldberg in Nieder-Flörsheim. Vinified in stainless steel and bottled in April 2020, the wine opens with a clear, deep, pure and intense nose that is discreet but substantial in its chalky terroir tone. Full-bodied, fresh and very elegant on the palate, this is a deep, intense and mineral-structured, creamy Pinot with a long and complex, saline and chalky finish. This is a superb sparkling wine, even if it's shy at this early stage. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2024.
