Tasting notes
Pale yellow. Vibrant nose offers scents of white peach, fresh herbs, mint and white pepper. Juicy, tightly wound and very firmly built, with its saline minerality keeping the fruit under wraps today. Very classically dry for a white wine at this address, this premier cru conveys an almost medicinal reserve and finishes rather austere. Is this wine a bit skinny or is it just young and strict?

(a very small crop due to the late flowering here): Pale, bright yellow. Apple and mint on the reticent nose. More about mint and saline minerality on the palate; in a very dry, rather uncompromising style, showing strong appley acidity. A very strict interpretation of the vintage, and much less open to inspection than the village wine.
