Score 91/100 · Drink 2016-2032, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Nov 2014

Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2011 horizontal tasting in Beaune. The Latricières-Chambertin 2011 from Chantal Remy is slightly smudged on the nose: strawberry and red cherries quite perfumed, but missing detail. The palate is soft and smooth on the entry, rounded with lower acidity than its peers, therefore more approachable but missing some structure and poise on the curt finish. However, there is appreciable depth here and it should provide pleasure over the next decade.

Transparent ruby (no suggestion of blue). Transparent fruit. A little chewy. Lighter and drier than the Clos de la Roche. Racy and user-friendly. (JR)
