Score 87/100 · Drink 2015-2025, Robert Parker, Jun 2015
One of the more reliable cru bourgeois offerings, the 2005 Moulin Rouge still has some tannin to shed, but it has attractive cassis and plum-like fruit, an opaque ruby/purple color, good purity and texture, and a medium-bodied mouthfeel. It is a relatively big wine for Moulin Rouge and will be even better with a few more years of bottle age. This sleeper of the vintage will last for at least another decade.
