Plenty of ripe citrus, honeyed orange, and minty nuances emerge from the 2022 Domaine De La Solitude Blanc, a juicy, lively, beautifully pure white with medium-bodied richness and depth and terrific depth of fruit and intensity. Based on 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon, raised on one-third new oak, it’s perfect for drinking over the coming 4-6 years, if not upwards of a decade.
The 2022 Domaine de la Solitude Blanc has evolved on the nose with hints of tropical fruit, beeswax, apple blossom and melon. The palate is well balanced with a crisp opening and fine weight, offering a slightly waxy texture. Quite spicy on the finish, this wine has commendable weight and will be difficult to resist in its youth.
The 2022 Domaine de la Solitude Blanc is creamy and layered. Citrus confit, marzipan and exotic floral notes grace this wonderfully deep, expressive, dry white. There's terrific volume and overall presence here. Tasted two times.
