Score 92/100 · Drink 2023-2033, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Oct 2018

Macerated on the purple skins for a week, the 2017 Grand Cru Moenchberg Pinot Gris displays a salmon color and a beautiful nose of redcurrants, herbs and floral notes along with a touch of oak. The palate is generous and silky, revealing fine and persistent tannins that give a firm finish with some youthful astringency. This is more a "red" than a white Pinot Gris that will surely benefit from bottle aging. 2,500 bottles made. Provisional score. Tasted October 2018.
