Score 87-89/100 · Drink 2025-2034, Neal Martin, Jan 2023

The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village was, again, showing quite a bit of reduction on the nose that makes it difficult to assess at present. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine acidity, insistent grip - slightly granular in texture. Hints of blood orange permeate the finish that has moderate length, though it just lacks length on the aftertaste. Give it three or four years in bottle.
