Tasting notes
The 2021 Meursault Poruzots 1er Cru has an oily, resinous bouquet that is less delineated and nuanced than Roulot's Bouchères. The palate is better, thanks to its silver bead of acidity, fresh and tensile, with lovely salinity and a poised, quite linear finish. Indeed, the aromatics begin to gain more definition with aeration and its pedigree becomes more apparent after five or six minutes. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.

The 2021 Meursault Poruzots 1er Cru has an engaging sea spray, estuarine scent on the nose that places it above the Blagny by comparison. The palate is very well defined with bitter lemon lending edge, beautifully balanced with superb salinity and nervosité on the finish. Bon vin . Chapeau!
