(these 80-year-old vines will be bottled on their own for the first time) Good bright, deep red. Musky, wild aromas of redcurrant, minerals and menthol. Juicy and vibrant, conveying a rocky impression of energy. Quite imploded today, hinting at mocha; more red fruits than black. Finishes firmly tannic but elegant. Tricky to assess today but seems quite promising.
