Vivid yellow. Bright, mineral-accented aromas of lemon curd, pear and nectarine, with floral and vanilla notes. Sappy, smoky and expansive, offering mineral-tinged citrus and pit fruit flavors that gain flesh and weight in the glass. Closes on a smoky note with excellent persistence and lingering honeysuckle and poached pear flavors.

St-Michel vines. Honeyed nose and broader than Grand Vallon but not that intense. Salt and acid are the dominant characteristics at the moment. (JR)
