2018 Urziger Wurzgarten GG Reserve

The 2018 Ürziger Würzgarten Unterst Pichter GG Réserve Alte Reben opens clear, deep, pure and fresh on the precise, saline and concentrated nose that intermingles mango aromas with delicate mineral and herbal notes. Vivacious, round and generous on the palate, this is a dense and structured, very persistent and complex Riesling with crystalline, elegant acidity, delicate fruit and an intense, long and complex, firmly structured finish. It's still a little edgy or austere in its mineral expression, with sweet caramel flavors on the finish. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in December 2024.
