(a blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon and malbec): Good bright, dark red. Expressive aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, coffee and mocha, plus a hint of leather. Smooth, generous and sweet, with a hint of leathery rusticity to the ripe dark berry and cherry flavors. This easygoing, ready-to-drink wine has just enough acidity to maintain its balance. Finishes with hints of mint and leather.

Score 87/100 · Drink 2013-2019, Robert Parker, Feb 2013
A soft, elegant, finesse-styled wine with light tannin, dark ruby color, attractive berry fruit with hints of licorice, damp earth and some tobacco leaf, this blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot and 12% Malbec reached 14% natural alcohol even in this appellation. Drink it over the next 4-6 years.
