Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2023-2038, Neal Martin, Dec 2020
The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Bossières comes from a single parcel of vines. The bouquet is more savory than Grivot’s other cuvées, almost to the point where I had to ask Etienne whether there was any vendange entière in the blend. (The answer is no.) The palate is silky-smooth with fine acidity, and very fresh in the mouth, offering black cherries, blueberry and a saline tang on the aftertaste, almost briny in style. An intriguing, fascinating Vosne-Romanée.
