Score 91/100 · Drink 2016-2041, Robert Parker, May 2011
A blend of 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Merlot, cropped at 30 hectoliters per hectare, and achieving 13% natural alcohol, this opaque ruby purple wine is very closed, with crushed rock, violets, blueberry and black raspberry fruit. Full-bodied, chalky, and intense, with loads of tannin, this is a wine for those with patience. Give it 5-6 years of bottle age and drink it over the following 25 years.
