Score 17.5/20 · Drink 2025-2032, Jancis Robinson MW, Aug 2025

Full bottle 1,341 g. From a plot on the extreme north of the appellation on the border with Meursault. Alluvium and brown limestone. Three quarters of vines are more than 80 years old while the rest were replanted in the 1990s. Deep, rich buttery colour. Rich, buttery nose(!) – no doubt about the malo here. But impressively lively on the palate with a streak of lime taking it through to a fine, slightly nutty finish. This is just what lovers of classic white burgundy are looking for. Quite long. Well done! And not fat despite the alcohol and ripeness of the vintage. (JR)
