Score 88/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jan 2005

Complex nose melds honey, citrus fruit, fresh herbs and spices. Shapely and stylish but not especially aromatic. Finishes with lingering flavors of lemon, honey and caramel. Chapoutier normally stirs the lees of this wine through the following spring, and Mazoyer says this was especially important with vintage 2002.
