Made with certified organic fruit, the 2013 Sangioveto is a beautiful and delicate wine that offers a floral and nuanced expression of Sangiovese. The bouquet reveals tones of rose hip and blue violets with wild berry and dark currant at the back. There are slightly sour or bitter flavors on the back end of the wine's light and lean texture. That enhanced acidity would pair nicely against cheesy pasta dishes or lasagna.
