There are just 2000 bottles of the 2022 Duo La Conseillante, which was raised in 50% new oak. Although there is only 10% Cabernet Franc in the blend, it is quite pronounced on the nose with black pepper and light estuarine scents opening in the glass. Modest vigor. The palate is medium-bodied with bright brambly red fruit, pointed acidity with a slightly savory finish. Drink over the next four or five years

Château la Conseillante was built in 1750 and named after the proprietor, Libourne business woman Catherine Conseillan. The reputation of the wines quickly grew and her wines became some of the most expensive in the region.
