Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2017-2024, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016
The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières was raised in 50% new oak and it had been bottled just before the following harvest. It has an attractive fresh orange sorbet and guava-scented nose, tropical fruit influenced without question, yet retaining fine delineation and precision. The palate is well balanced with a rounded, slightly honeyed entry, mango and peach developing towards the slightly viscous but engaging finish. Probably difficult to resist in its youth, drink this over the next 6-8 years.
