Tasting notes
The 2023 Les Romains is a white-fruited, round style with restrained fruit. It is somewhat lacking in concentration but has some fine, crackly acidity. The 2023 is a little creamy and gently textured on the mid-palate before the flint holds the wine tight and with a frame of grip.

The 2023 Les Romains is from a rare vineyard in the Vacheron white portfolio that is flinty rather than chalky. It is fresh and firm, with a sense of purpose, line and length. This is a citrus-led style with the sensation of a stone hitting flint to create the spark for a fire. The 2023 is young, raw and needs at least another year in bottle.
