Score 89/100 · Drink 2019-2028, Neal Martin, Nov 2018

The 2015 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Caillerets 1er Cru initially has a slightly blowsy bouquet, quite resinous and waxy in style, but it develops with aeration. The slightly waxy palate is rounded and soft on the entry, displaying moderate acidity and a rather one-dimensional, saline finish. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

Light and fresh. Very racy. Lifted and very Cailleret. A real flirt. Great stuff. (JR)
