Tasting notes
The Forster 2021 Jesuitengarten GG offers notes of yeast, honey, ripe fruit and white nougat on the nose. Juicy, round, elegant and playful on the palate, with fine tannins, this is a quite substantial and persistently salty Jesuitengarten that still needs time. 13% stated alcohol. Tasted in Wiesbaden, August 2022.

Certified organic. AP number 45 22. A touch spicy, herbal citrus. Initially like being in a spring garden but opening to riper fruits and spice. Like the Freundstück, the palate is rather different from the nose. Leaner citrus flavours at first but then moving into apricot. A wine that changes and develops in the glass and is therefore likely to do so in the bottle. (JH)
