Score 92/100 · Drink 2019-2030, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

Here's a wine with some fun history to consider. This Langhe Rosso started as one of the first blended wines in the Langhe, a wine region celebrated for its rigorous monovarietal philosophy. This wine was first produced 1976. Now jump forward to the 2011 Langhe Bricco Manzoni. This blend of 80% Nebbiolo and 20% Barbera d'Alba shows a rich and dark color that is enhanced by aromas of blackberry and plum. The wine is solid and thick in terms of texture.
