Tasting notes
Unwinding in the glass with notes of white flowers, citrus zest, crisp green apple and fresh mint, the 2022 Meursault Meix Chavaux is medium to full-bodied, ample and textured, with a suave, charming core of fruit that's girdled by bright acids. Jean-Marc Roulot also elected to vinify and bottle separately 500 liters of wine from this climat derived from vines planted in 1929, which exhibit more density and cut.

Cask sample. Mid-pale lemon. Latent sweetness and an almost tropical quality to the zesty fruit. Quite a mouthful with great texture. Saturated with absolutely lip-smacking acidity. (MH)
