Tasting notes
Contains 14% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Malbec. Fermented with ambient yeasts. Aged for 24 months in French oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. 3,326 cases produced. Very dark garnet. Aromas of black cherry, struck match and cedar. Juicy, mouth-watering (perhaps a touch volatile?) acidity makes flavours of cherry, cedar and toasted oak tangy and bright. Muscular tannins coat the mouth and flex their muscles over time. The oak is well integrated, though there is more of it than might be preferred in the finish. (AY)

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is such a sexy wine. Plush, deep and seductive, the 2019 is an opulent beauty the likes of which I don't think I have ever tasted here. A rush of black plum, tobacco, incense, dried herbs and licorice makes a strong first impression. Time in the glass brings out the wine's compelling aromatic nuances. Silky and plush, with tremendous depth, the 2019 is a huge overachiever. I loved it.
