Score 84-86/100 · Drink 2023-2026, Neal Martin, Jan 2023
The 2021 Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes comes from clayey soils in two parcels in Chorey-les-Beaune. It has a light peppery nose. The 45% whole bunches are quite prominent at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with a soft opening, light mulberry and strawberry fruit with the stems defining the finish. Agreeable, but early drinking.

Scents of sweet petals, red berries, spices and orange rind preface the 2021 Bourgogne Pinot Noir, a medium-bodied, supple and fleshy wine that's fine-boned and perfumed, built around melting tannins and lively acids.
