Tasting notes
The 1991 Chambertin-Clos de Beze is the most subdued and restrained of Groffier's 1991s. Rich, medium to full-bodied, with excellent color, definition, and flavor extraction, it needs at least 3-4 years in the cellar; it should keep for 10-12. How great it is to see Groffier come through with such high quality wines in 1991. A Peter Vezan Selection, various importers, including Ideal Wines & Spirits, Medford, MA and Barrique Wine Co., Chicago, IL.
