1983 Certan Giraud

The 1983 Certan-Giraud is still drinking well today, exhibiting a vibrant ruby-garnet hue followed by a complex bouquet of sweet currants, cherries and berries mingled with notions of burning embers, loamy soil, tobacco leaf and dried rose petal. Medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with an ample core of fruit, melted tannins and lively acids, it's a sensual, enveloping Pomerol that really blossoms with time in the decanter and glass.
