Pale ruby. Lightweight and, on the basis of this sample bottle, doesn’t really warrant the price. But it does open out to more subtlety on the finish. A bit austere overall though. (JR)

The 2023 Corton Les Combes Grand Cru is often one of the domaine's best cuvées and there is no difference this year. It was blessed with a superb mineral-laden bouquet with captivating vivacity and terroir expression. The palate is medium-bodied, pure and poised with finely knit tannins and an elegant, persistent finish. This ranks alongside the impressive 2022.
