Outstanding Top value - Moderate reduction overshadows what are clearly ripe fruit aromas trimmed in just enough wood to notice. The racy and delicious medium weight flavors possess excellent volume and a borderline aggressive minerality on the youthfully austere and beautifully persistent finale. While this could be approached young, at least a few years of keeping should help to add depth. Drink 2029+

The 2023 Saint Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru is laced with apricot, lemon confit, orange and spice. Rich and creamy in the glass, with striking depth, the 2023 is wonderfully sensual from start to finish. Soft, caressing tannins wrap it all together in style. There’s just a touch of reduction, but that should not be an issue in time.

Based in Meursault and farming some of the finest vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, Henri Boillot is a leading address in Burgundy. He crafts fine Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but the estate is best known for its flagship monopole vineyard, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Clos de la Mouchère.
