The 2023 Bourgogne Côte d'Or Rouge is a charming, open-knit red redolent of sweet red berries, orange zest and peony. Supple and succulent, it will drink well on release.

The 2023 Bourgogne Rouge, which was completely destemmed, sees around 15% new oak. It has dark berries and iodine scents on the nose, the palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannins and hints of licorice arise toward the finish. Perhaps it's just a little on the exotic side?
