Tasting notes
The 2023 Chambertin Grand Cru has turned out beautifully, offering up aromas of raspberries, plums, orange zest, dark chocolate and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's lively and seamless, with ultra-refined tannins and a harmonious, elegantly complete profile.

The 2023 Chambertin Grand Cru, which is one-third whole bunch, one-third destemmed and one-third berry-by-berry, perhaps has a little more cohesion on the nose this year. Its bouquet contains dark berry fruit, bergamot and loam/forest floor scents. The palate is medium-bodied and gentle with fine delineation and poise yet quite intense toward the finish that fans out wonderfully. There is real class here.
About the producer

Domaine Duroché has, under Pierre Duroché, become one of the most sought-out and respected wine domaines in Gevrey-Chambertin. The wines are delicate and detailed, yet with old-vine intensity, a clear sense of place and style – and it’s easy to see why they’ve rapidly become so in-demand.
