Tasting notes
Aromas of apple, toasted nuts and bread dough introduce the 2023 Bourgogne Blanc Les Grandes Corvées, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered wine with a sweet core of fruit, lively acids and a saline finish.

Harvested 31 August. Tank sample. Mid lemon. Bright apple and pear. A touch of flintiness with quite sharp, citrus-led acidity. Medium body. Good. (MH)
The 2023 Bourgogne Les Grand Corvées has a very pretty bouquet with hints of chai infusing the citrus aromas. It is very fresh and charming, even at this early stage. The palate is well balanced with fine weight, a silver bead of acidity and a spicier finish than other white regional Burgundies. It has a long aftertaste. This has a modicum of class, though it's not in the same league as the Saint-Aubin.
