Smoked strawberry jelly. Glou-glou delicious (am I allowed to call a burgundy 'glou-glou'?). A circlet of tannins so soaked in juice that I wonder if they can be called tannins. I think this little wine may have been born in Vittoria, Sicily, and was snuck up north under cover of darkness. Surely, surely, too much fun going on in this glass? (TC)

The 2023 Bourgogne Côte d'Or Cuvée Etienne Camuzet, which comes from parcels located between Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny, has a light and dainty bouquet with strawberry pastilles. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, fine acidity and a simple, lightly spiced finish.
