The 2023 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Reignots is suave and polished, wafting from the glass with aromas of plums and dark berries mingled with incense, orange zest, smoke and spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and enveloping, it's pure and lively, with a sweet core of fruit followed by a saline finish.

The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Aux Reignots 1er Cru is vinified with 40% whole bunch. There is more reduction here compared to the Les Petits Monts. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chalky tannins and crisp red berry fruit laced with light graphite notes. It's quite linear toward the finish. This maybe just needs a little more sustain on the aftertaste.
