Score 91/100 · Drink 2026-2038, Neal Martin, Nov 2024

The 2023 Charlemagne Grand Cru has a well-defined bouquet, with light oyster shell notes permeating the yellow fruit as hints of beeswax gradually develop. The palate is well balanced with a slightly viscous entry, a keen line of acidity, moderate length and a touch of ginger toward the finish. There's just a touch of oatmeal on the aftertaste. Fine.
