The 2023 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru comes from Les Renardes, close to Faiveley, plus another parcel in Le Charlemagne (four parcels in total to make 0.88 hectares). It has a strict and quite mineral-driven bouquet, nicely poised and a little chalky with a hint of lemon verbena. The palate is well balanced with lime and a twist of sour lemon on the sapid finish. Very fine.
