Tasting notes
Smells like cranberry juice. Masses of acidity but it’s ripe and sweet and crackling with energy. ‘Red citrus’. Thirst-quenching. Stealthy tannins that creep up under the cover of the fruit, giving it a backwards rub and the soft-rough texture of tweed. Appetisingly 'dusty' minerality throughout. Great stuff! (TC)

Aromas of sweet cassis, cherries and berries introduce the 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Solon, a medium-bodied, succulent and flavorful red with a sweet core of fruit and soft, melting tannins.
The 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Solon has a gorgeous bouquet with lively red cherry and crushed strawberry scents intermixed with forest floor and a light ceps aroma. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh and crisp, with fine delineation, a pleasing edginess and a tensile finish. This is a strong follow-up to the 2022.
