Score 93-95/100 · Drink 2028-2052, Neal Martin, Nov 2024

The 2023 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru has a very well-defined and more open bouquet compared to the Cuvée Allouettes. With cranberry and raspberry fruit alongside incense and light lavender scents, this is born to be seductive. The palate is medium-bodied and quite sapid with a little more crunchiness to the texture. There is a keen line of acidity and a vibrant, persistent finish. This ranks alongside the impressive 2022.
