Aromas of white currants, citrus zest, spring flowers and crisp orchard fruit introduce the 2023 Meursault 1er Cru Les Caillerets, a medium- to full-bodied, layered and mineral wine with a satiny attack and a long, chalky finish. This bottling derives from a parcel on the north side of Meursault that overlooks Les Santenots.

The 2023 Meursault Les Caillerets 1er Cru has a refined bouquet that offers scents of vervain and grilled walnut, demonstrating fine delineation, though you do have to wait for this to open. The palate is well balanced with a slightly mellifluous texture, hints of ginger and white pepper, very mineral-driven on the reductive finish in context of the vintage.
