The 2023 Musigny Blanc Grand Cru exhibits notes of elderflowers, crisp stone fruits, mint and wet stones, followed by a medium-bodied, pure and satiny palate that's bright and racy. The very fine selections of Chardonnay planted here actually present something of a conundrum, as their small berries ripen rapidly, easily delivering very exotic aromas and flavors.

The 2023 Musigny Blanc Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru has an intense nose with scents of peach skin, linseed oil and a dab of white truffle—finely delineated. The palate is well balanced with a sapid, spicy, lemongrass-tinged entry. As usual, there is a nod to the Rhône here, with wonderful weight and density on the finish. Superb.
