Full bottle 1,297 g. Another red burgundy with a surprisingly dense, rich tapestry of dark, sumptuous fruit. I can even taste a drop of pomegranate molasses there. Glossy tannins slide past, leaving the ghost of mossy stones in their wake. Gloriously fresh (it's those stones, I'm sure), but my that fruit is unapologetically intense. (TC)

Offering up notes of dark berries, orange zest and smoked meats, the 2023 Fixin Village is medium-bodied, supple and lively, with chalky tannins that lend gentle grip to the finish.

Cask sample. Dark-mid ruby. Red cherry and raspberry on the nose. Zesty, fresh acidity and tannins which build on the moderately long finish. (MH)
