Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2027-2040, Neal Martin, Nov 2024

The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes, from vines between 60 and 70 years old, has a beautifully defined bouquet with cranberry and wild strawberry fruit scents, sous-bois and neatly integrated 25% new oak. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, sweet black cherries and crushed strawberry scents and a dab of candied orange peel toward the finish. This will be very seductive.
