Tasting notes
A wonderful wine with pureness of fruit and crunchy character, together with intense, freshly ground spices and fresh flowers. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and polish, showing super intensity, complexity and soul. Very unique in this vintage, with energy and weightlessness. One of the best ever. Drink or hold.

Always one of the highlights of the range, the 2023 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Petits Monts is a beauty, bursting with notes of sweet red berries, plums, rose petals, orange zest and spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and suave, it's perfumed and refined, with lively acids and a saline finish.
Bright deep purple with lots of glycerol legs. 40-45% whole bunch vinification. It does show but under cover, then a few more tannins and the drier patch which goes with whole bunch vinification. But what a sensational quality of fruit, the strawberries are dancing over the palate. Very precise and very persistent.
