The 2023 Meursault Les Clous is quite expressive this year, exhibiting notes of musky peach, white flowers and pear, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy palate with a satiny attack and a chalky finish.

The 2023 Meursault Les Clous has an attractive, finely delineated nose with beeswax-tinged citrus fruit and touches of grilled hazelnut coming through with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, although it doesn't have quite the complexity of the 2022 toward the slightly conservative finish.
A small crop on Les Clous, having exchanged some of their vines, and after the July hail. The nose shows hillside qualities, but discreet. There is some intensity of white fruit on the palate, with a slightly richer finish.

Bouchard Père & Fils is one of Burgundy’s oldest and most established wine producers. Founded in 1731 by Michel Bouchard, it is the largest vineyard owner in the Côte d’Or with 130 hectares of vines.
