A good second wine from Bernard Magrez, the 2013 Le Clementin du Pape Clement possesses soft, ripe berry fruit and a medium-bodied mouthfeel. Drink it over the next 3-5 years.

The 2013 Clémentin de Pape Clément is laced with dark cherry, game, plum, smoke and dark spices. A rich, textured wine for the year, the 2013 Clémentin is a great example of the strength of the appellation in this very tricky vintage. Smoke, game and earthy notes reappear on the textured, suave finish. Tasted three times.
