Tasting Notes
Full ruby-red. Complex, soil-inected aromas of cherry, redcurrant, mocha and herbs. Superconcentrated and thick, with strong acids giving shape to the wine. Has a distinctly inty avor. Superb slow-building nish features strong, slightly edgy tannins that will require six or seven years of patience. Very youthfully unevolved.

Interestingly, this is the most forward aromatically of any of these grands crus to this point and with the most complexity as well. Quite refined and pure for young Bonnes Mares with exceptionally good balance and overall harmony all framed by the superb depth of material. It's not quite as big and muscular as the Clos de Vougeot but has even more overall class - in short, this is extremely impressive and worth a search to find.
