The 2017 Chambertin Grand Cru matures in two 600-litre barrels. It has a perfumed and very attractive bouquet with black cherries, redcurrant, undergrowth and light floral aromas that feel very harmonious. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy ripe red fruit, curry leaf, touches of white pepper and a cohesive, quite persistent finish. Afford this 5 or 6 years once in bottle.
